Italians vote in regional elections on Saturday is heralded as a crucial test for Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, and his party, while Berlusconi is considered as a liability for his party and government. In the past year, Berlusconi's wife has left him over a series of sex scandals and his party has fumbled the political process leaving them off the candidate list in Rome province.
