Jennifer Aniston, world's most eligible woman

The former Friends star Jennifer Aniston topped a poll by Vanity Fair/ 60 Minutes investigative show, with 29 per cent of the vote naming her the world's most eligible woman. 27 per cent of men and 32 per cent of women picked Aniston, 41, to be the most eligible.

The former Bond girl Halle Berry, who has recently split from her long term boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, was in second place with 29 per cent of the votes while Tiger Woods' ex-wife and former nanny Elin Nordegren, 31, who divorced Tiger Woods following his multiple affairs, was voted to the third place with 15 per cent of votes.

Veteran actress Betty White, who polled 11 per cent of the votes, was at the fourth slot, while singer Lady Gaga was placed fifth in the poll with five per cent of the votes.

In May 1998, Jennifer Aniston began dating actor Brad Pitt and they married on July 29, 2000, but the couple announced their separation on January 6, 2005. Aniston filed for divorce on March 25, 2005, which was finalized on October 2, 2005.

After divorce, Aniston was linked to actor Vince Vaughn, with whom she costarred in The Break Up, and she dated British model Paul Sculfor for a few months in 2007. In February 2008, she began dating singer John Mayer. Aniston was also linked to the Hangover star Bradley Cooper.
