Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas
This is the Bay Resort and Casino in the Sin City, where the Miss Universe 2010 Pageant is being held (on August 23, 2010).
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, at 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119, with 3,309 rooms and total gaming space of 135,000 sq ft (12,500 squire meter), owned by MGM Resorts International, is a 43-story luxury hotel casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
The adjacent Mandalay Bay Convention Center has almost 1,000,000 sq ft (93,000 sq m) of space and the Mandalay Bay Events Center hosts events including boxing, the UFC's MMA pay-per-views and concerts. It hosted the Latin Grammy Awards in 2007 and 2009 and will host it up until 2012.
The working title for the $950 million resort and casino was "Project Paradise", officially replaced with Mandalay Bay in 1998.
