True music knows no barriers
True music knows no barriers, no age groups or time frames. We come across many musicians, songs and style in our lives. Some of them become a craze for some time and simply fade away, never to be heard of again! But there are certain gifted singers, bands and songs that remain evergreen, fresh and smoothening every time we hear them. In a sense they are immortal, timeless creations by true geniuses. In this regard, I particularly like Led Zeppelin, the English rock band originally formed by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham, regarded as one of the first heavy metal bands that pioneered the genre, but still their style transcending any one genre.
While searching for music and musicians I came across the online store Rhino from where you can order music in vinyl, CDs, DVDs and digital versions without compromising on quality. They have special promotions and events that can be very useful for music lovers, payments can be made online, and you can opt for shipping the ordered items to your address or download to your computer.
Yet another band that stood the test of time and won the hearts and souls of music and dance lovers is New Order. Acclaimed by fans, critics and musicians as a highly influential force in the alternative rock and dance music scenes over the past decades, New Order combined post-punk and electronic dance, and became one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the 1980s.
They were called The Band, originally made up of Robbie Robertson, Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson and Rick Danko and Levon Helm, first coming together as they joined rockabilly singer Ronnie Hawkins' backing group, The Hawks. They were simply irresistible and produced great music and won many accolades, including the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement Award.
People knowingly or unknowingly revolt when their lives become stereotyped into repeating what others used to do, and change the rules of society’s norms. About four decades ago, an unbelievably huge gathering of half a million people at Max Yasgur’s farm, the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival, revolutionized rock music and all other genres forever. If you want to relive those happening moments Woodstock CDs will help you experience it.
The Bee Gees enthralled music lovers for over four decades with their harmonic soft rock and almost ruled the disco music era. They had sales over 200 million making them one of the best selling music artists of all time. If you listen to Bee Gees CDs you will feel they were rightfully placed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
The late 80s superband Traveling Wilburys used pseudonyms such as Nelson Wilbury (George Harrison), Otis Wilbury (Jeff Lynne), Lefty Wilbury (Roy Orbison), Charlie T. Wilbury Jr. (Tom Petty) and Lucky Wilbury (Bob Dylan). The band was accidentally created in 1988 when Harrison wanted his ‘brothers’ to help him record the B side of ‘This is Love’. The result was ‘Handle with Care’, surprisingly too good to be used as a ‘filler’. Inspired by this, they created 10 tracks in 10 days and released as Traveling Wilburys Volume 1. It reached triple-platinum and won a Grammy. It was followed by the intentionally mis-numbered Traveling Wilburys Volume 3 that went platinum. You can recapture their music magic in Traveling Wilburys CDs.
No, it is not the end of the list, I just mentioned a few, Rhino has everything that you want to listen if you are looking for quality music, of any genre, group or musician of any time. Check them out to see the wide range they have on offer!
