Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods divorced
World's top golfer Tiger Woods on Thursday admitted his own misdeeds wrecked his marriage and he wished his former wife Elin Nordegren ‘the best in everything,’ in every thing. They issued a joint statement too, without blaming each other but saying that they would be committed for the upbringing of their ‘wonderful’ kids.
"I wish her the best in everything," Woods told reporters in Paramus in New Jersey two days after their divorce, and added, "You know, it's a sad time in our lives. And we're looking forward in our lives and how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that's the most important thing."
Woods said, "As far as my game and practicing, that's been secondary… We're trying to get our kids situation to our new living conditions and how that's going to be. That's where our focus is going to be right now".
Nordegren has also broken her nine-month silence about the scandal involving her husband and said that she never suspected her husband. "I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children," she told People magazine.
The scandal not only affected Tiger Woods, but the entire sports industry, especially golf-based ones, and his endorsers. The total losses are estimated in billions.

Tiger Woods’ first interview after break from golf
March 22: Bloomberg Television’s video on YouTube reports Tiger Woods’ first interview after he took a break from golf following his alleged involvement with multiple sex partners. He said that he is concerned about the reception he will get from fans when he returns to competition at golf’s Masters Tournament next month after almost four months away from the sport. Joslyn James has 1,000+ text messages from Woods
Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren has disappeared as Joslyn James vowed to post more racy text messages from Woods, news reports say. The former porn star Joslyn James said she is ready to unwrap more dirt on the golfer with whom she allegedly had a three-year affair. James has set up a website where Woods' alleged sex texts can be read and she would soon post some of the more than 1,000 text messages.
